Amaridian
Ameridian is the symbolic combination of two words- the Zulu word "Amadlozi" meaning "ancestral spirits" and the word the word "meridian" the imagery lines that traverse the globe. The visions of many South Africans Mary Slack and Frasser Conlon desiring to bridge a new idea of Africa with America through the arts. The concept manifested itself in a contemporary space in which the creations of the sub- Sahara can be exposed and illuminated.
