Individual Self Visit – free, no booking required

Visit Ardmore and browse through the museum, studios and gallery. Our sales staff will be available to help with anything that visitors might need as well as showing them our artists & sculptors at work.

Group Tours – R20 per head, booking required*

This includes a guided tour, led by one of our most experienced artists, of the sculpture & painting studios, the Bonnie Ntshalintshali Ceramic Museum where you will learn about the history of Ardmore, view the Zulu Culture and History Collection as well as the HIV/AIDS Collection. Meet the Ardmore artists and sculptors and speak to them about their work.

Luxury Group Visit – R150 per head, booking required*

This option includes a guided tour, led by one of our most experienced artists, of the sculpting and painting studios, the Bonnie Ntshalintshali Ceramic Museum where you will learn about the history of Ardmore, view the Zulu Culture and History Collection as well as the HIV/AIDS Collection, and offers the opportunity to speak to the artists and sculptors about their work. High tea, consisting of sandwiches and cakes, will be served at the coffee shop overlooking the river. It can also include an equestrian dressage display by special request.

Half Day Tour and Workshop - R350 per head, booking required*

Includes a guided tour of the workshops and the Bonnie Ntshalintshali Ceramic Museum where you will learn about the history of Ardmore and view the Zulu Culture and History Collection and the HIV/AIDS Collection. One of the Ardmore master sculptors will conduct a sculpting demonstration and each visitor can try their hand at making a dish, a figurine or a tile.

Full Day Tour and Workshop - R500 per head, booking required*

A full day tour will include the same as above, with more time for visitors to create and work on their piece. There will be a break for lunch during which time people may choose to bring a picnic lunch to eat at the coffee shop overlooking the river or visit Caversham Mill Restaurant next to Ardmore.

3 Day Tour and Workshop - R1,500 per head, booking required*

A 3-day tour will include the same as the Full Day Tour as well as a painting demonstration and the chance for visitors to paint their own tile. Tiles and paints will be provided. Accommodation is not included but you can visit our website for a number of options available in the area.
If the students want their products fired they must arrange to have them collected from Ardmore or we can arrange for shipping at an extra cost.

Please pre-book through the Ardmore Admin Office at least a week before your visit. A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings, payment to be made in full at the time of visit.
