Ardmore Exhibition at South Africa House, London

9-12 June 2009

Ardmore held a fantastically successful show at South Africa House on Trafalgar Square in London. Despite the tube strike, it was wonderful to see all our Ardmore friends over the course of the week and we thank you for your support. We were overwhelmed by the response. The show was a sell-out and sparked many orders.

We would like to thank the High Commissioner, Lindiwe Mabuza, for her ever-usual warm support and hospitality. We would also like to thank all those who helped make the show a success, especially the generosity of old friends in particular Mark and Deidre Simpson, Ted Adlard, Christopher English, Claire Cooper at Art First and Maggie Rammage. We would also like to thank First Contact for including the show in their monthly newsletter, UCT Ulumni for emailing the invitation to their database and Investec Bank and Standard Bank for distributing our invitations to their staff.

We had many people ask when next we would be in London and the good news is you don't have to wait! We will be sending new pieces over for the Joze Show which is taking place 6th - 13th September on Accolds Farm, Kirdford, West Sussex. You can also visit Patric Mavros on the Fulham Road who have a few Ardmore pieces as well as a fantastic new range of porcelain espresso cups highlighted with silver lustre. We are also excited to have a piece at Vessel Gallery in Nottinghill.
