Ardmore Excellence Fund NewsAugust 2008 Ardmore Leadership Conference As part of Ardmore’s commitment to legacy building new leadership structures have been put into place at Ardmore Ceramic Art. The Excellence Fund then assisted in facilitating the first Leadership Conference to help build a shared vision for Ardmore.: to become a world leading ceramic studio with a great working atmosphere and care for the Ardmore community and beyond through The Excellence Fund. The day included both formal business exercises such as doing a SWOT Analysis for Ardmore Ceramic Art and well as looking at areas of strength and challenges for the individual, and informal team building exercises where lessons about trust, listening and team co-ordination were learnt to the accompaniment of much laughter! The Excellence Fund was assisted by our neighbour Caversham Centre in developing the day’s leadership program and in facilitating a very interesting discussion on the qualities of art versus production pieces. We are excited by our partnership with Caversham Centre in assisting The Excellence Fund in leadership training and empowering the leaders to take skills learnt in the work place back to their communities through the Caversham Centre CreACTive Centre Initiative.
