Victor Shabalala wins merit prize in the ABSA L'Atelier Art Competition

Ardmore is thrilled to announce that one of our top sculptors, Victor Shabalala has been recognised as one of South Africa's leading artists by being awarded a merit prize in the ABSA L'Atelier Art Competition. View and read more about Victor Shabalala's work.

Closure of our Berg Studio

We are sad to announce that we have closed the Ardmore studio in the Champagne Valley. Ardmore Berg, as it was known was the studio where Fee Halsted Berning and Bonnie Ntshalintshali began their ceramic careers on Ardmore Farm. Due to the history associated with the studio, it was a much deliberated decision, but the distance from Caversham made effective management difficult. We are happy to tell you that all staff and top artists have relocated to Caversham and are making some of the most outstanding works.

David Walters and Friends Exhibition

Fee Halsted Berning and Catherine Berning joined Ardmore artist Alex Shabalala to take part in this exhibition at the William Humphrey's museum in Kimberly. The work is inspired by the print maker from neighbouring Caversham Centre, Gabisile Nkosi. More.
