Petros Gumbi's masterpiece: John the Baptist to go on auction, 7 Aug Petros' pure white John the Baptist urn is one of the finest pieces ever produced by this highly acclaimed artist. It is both a theological and artistic masterpiece and is truly incredible. The piece is being auctioned by Jonahre to raise funds for the Church's support of the arts. Bonnie Ntshalintshali, who pioneered Ardmore with Fee Hasted, and Wonderboy Nxumalo, who is known for his narrative pieces, are both no longer with us and the opportunity to own one of their pieces is very rare.
