Bheko was born in Lidgetton, KwaZulu-Natal, on the 19 February 2003. He went to Mount Carmel Primary in central Howick, and attended Mconjwana High in Kwa-Haza Location, where he matriculated.

He has always had a passion for art, and started experimenting at a young age by drawing his favourite cartoon characters on his cloths. After first discovering Ardmore by seeing works in museums and following Ardmore on social media, Bheko approached Ardmore to join the family as a painter in the ceramics studio. “I enjoy painting a lot,” says Bheko, “and seeing the diverse artistic skills around me in studio inspires me.”

Bheko also looks up to Sbusiso Mbatha and Mthulisi Ncube who inspire me artistically. After spending a few months at Ardmore, Fée suggested that Bheko expand his skills by joining the Ardmore Gallery sales team. In the gallery environment, Bheko looks up to Fiso Radebe who also started at Ardmore as an artist and later became one of Ardmore’s top salespeople.
